Oh hello, look at this thousand-watt smile! The ever-adorable Rachel and I spent good quality time at Wellesley (yep, again!) for her senior sessionâ€¦ It was after commencement, the campus was extremely quietâ€¦ to the point where we were a little spooked! However, I love not having people around, we were able to take command over any location we wanted without people getting in the way.

Love her pink shoes! This is what Iâ€™m talking about in terms of accessories!

Edlyn is the reason I got to do all these amazing senior sessions at Wellesley. Her previous session in the winter can be foundÂ here. We returned for a spring photoshoot. I laughed really hard when she came out wearing her commencement robe. She explained it was something that her parents wanted. I decided to make the photos look less frumpy than the posed senior photos I had to endure in college.

This location is awesome – a common room in the Tower dorm, it looks rather medieval actually

While taking this photo a family walked by and said Edlyn was a model!

A deliciously wonderful tree by the presidentâ€™s residence

We walked a bit through mud by the lake to find this awesome garden that belongs to the Hunnywells (sp?) that had pretty cool sculptured trees

Another year, and commencement dawns upon the hundreds of colleges and universities in the Boston area. Wellesley and Harvard are no exceptions, for this and the next 3 posts youâ€™ll see a variety of senior portraits at these two campuses. And even more awesome is that a lot of these girls are just like me – economics majors. Congratulations Ro!

It was early morning (our session started at 8AM!) light but I wanted to edit this to look like a golden sunset

Thereâ€™s a reason this photo really stood out to me – funny fact, Roâ€™s mom doesnâ€™t like it when Ro smiles with her teeth showing, but I think itâ€™s absolutely adorable and so natural!

A tip for the class of 2010, Iâ€™m currently scheduling senior sessions for the fall season – availability is better, and youâ€™ll be able to get them in time to make prints prior to graduating! See the rest of the photos from this sessionÂ here

Wen's Second Pregnancy | Boston Maternity Photography

Wen and Phil were two of my high school youth counselors back in the day, and probably one of my biggest supporters since I began exploring photography back in high school. Itâ€™s always an honor whenever they ask me to take their photos, and I was particularly happy to find out that Wen wanted photos of her second pregnancy (congrats!). We drove to Wellesley College campus (seems to be one of my favorite places to shoot now!), the sky threatened to rain but held throughout the hour, woohoo!

Their son, little J, was a little clingy at first, so Phil took him for a ride!

I really love pregnant bellies, I think theyâ€™re one of the most beautiful things in the world

Iâ€™ve been returning to Wellesley to do a couple more senior sessions. I love the campus – itâ€™s a great mix of natural beauty and elegant architecture. The sky was threatening to rain the entire time, but Chanda and I were able to fit in a very productive session within 90 minutes!

We went to Tower Court, her dorm, and I wanted to get a curtain silhouette shot – inspiration from bridal shots

Woohoo, I’m on a roll, getting editing done early! Raise your hand if your senior portrait (high school or college) was awful. I was definitely one of them. For some reason they always occurred when I had a bad hair day.

So Edlyn had me drive up to the beautiful Wellesley campus to come take photos of her before she graduated. What a good idea! I don’t think I have any nice photos of myself on Harvard campus… maybe I should get them before I stop looking like a college student.

Anyhow, here are some top picks:

First off, it was 10 degrees warmer than normal. Isn’t Edlyn’s top a pretty pretty color?

Getting in more practice in doing from-above head shots!

I loved her bag, and of course, why not have a photo that shows it off?

We went into the Lulu Chow Wang student center and found some pretty awesome nooks to shoot in. This shot sort of simulates Edlyn in class
