The wedding is nothing without the wedding ceremony. Nicole and Lino had a traditional Puerto Rican wedding mass with cantors and holy communion. Ceremonies are to me the most sacred and symbolic of any wedding, and I really liked the focus on love that was at Nicole and Lino’s ceremony. Don’t forget to check out Part 1 of their wedding photos if you haven’t already done so!
The orchids that cascaded down bridesmaids’ arms? Breathtaking. Courtesy of Carlos Gonzales with i2 events
Emily caught this beautiful moment between Nicole and Mom before she walked down the aisle. This is really the advantage of having a second shooter – getting some more of those special moments
And also the cute flower girls
While I was inside, making sure I got this hug

I think the ringbearer got a bit tired
It’s hard to convey the sound of Lino’s hearty laugh with a photograph, but here’s a try

GREAT hug shot, Emily!
I think one of my favorite parts of a Catholic wedding ceremony is when the congregation prays over the couple

Great bouquet shot by Emily before they all jumped in the car
Nicole and Lino and I rode back to the San Juan Marriott hotel first to get the couple portraits done on the beach before the wedding party arrived. We also retrieved Violet for some family photos!

It was probably 100 degrees and 100% humidity that day – so hot that my lenses fog up when I move from indoors to outdoors! We were very grateful for the less intense sunset light and sea breeze
And the wedding party arrives! I’m sorry I made you guys run a little, just wanted to make sure we were keeping the wedding as on time as possible ;)

I know this is not a traditional wedding party pose.. in fact, most of the wedding party, like Nicole and Lino, are salsa dancers, so I had to factor in some dancing!

Stay tuned for Part 3!
