No words can express just how psyched I am to be published on the premiere wedding blog in the whole world, Style Me Pretty! Jen and Joel’s Gibbet Hill wedding was picture perfect and their details were so well executed and personal, this is only the highest compliment to what they have done and the honor they’ve given me to be their wedding photographer. With that and having just returned from photographing a destination wedding in Jamaica, I’d say my major 2011 goals are 2/3 of the way there! I have been busting at the seams to tell you guys all about one of newest and favorite blogs to follow – bWed Exlusive! Alexandra and I have been Twittering and emailing back and forth, and she is just one of the sweetest, most down to earth ladies I’ve met (online)! On top of that, New Englanders, bWed Exclusive has a heart for featuring great weddings right in our backyard. I’m always extremely excited to support a blog like that because you know our region, we don’t get as much love on bigger blogs! Another thing I liked about Alexandra is just how much care she puts into her blogs – she takes time to know the couple. That’s why I’m super-psyched that Kat and Tim’s Newport, Rhode Island wedding got featured, because bWed has all the heartstring-tugging details on how they got together and became engaged. Also, shoe lovers, you’ll love bWed Exclusive’s Tuesday Shoesday series. I sigh at all those pretty shoes

That’s not all… my Boston Public Library wedding with Sue and Ryan also got featured today at StyleUnveiled! One great thing about StyleUnveiled is that it is a very modern, city-oriented blog. Again, given that I work mostly in Boston and Chicago, I think that my peers and brides alike would appreciate seeing blogs that features elegant, modern, and REAL city weddings. For example, check out all the Chicago weddings that have appeared on the blog, or maybe you’d like New York? I can’t wait to see Boston join in! Thank you Heather and Kimberly!

Stephanie of Savvy Chic Weddings is an absolute sweetheart and aspiring bridal consultant, and I love how she focuses on fun and romantic couples and draws inspiration from fashion, home entertainment, and many other sources. Here’s what she has to say:

“Savvy Chic Weddings is about navigating through the process of planning a wedding. I like to find hidden talent or hidden style and showcase it. I would also say I am a bit of a bargain hunter. My philosophy has always been that you should never pay more than you have to, to get what you want, so I really enjoy showing couples how to get the look they want for less without sacrificing quality. (Afterall, you do get what you pay for!) I also like to give some guidance as to how to go about the process of planning a wedding. I’m loving Meg’s style – her features are spot on for a modern bride and highlight clean lines, sophisticated florals, and timeless romance. My heart flutters when I see what she has to post, as I do love me some modern weddings!

Samantha at The Elegant Owl, owner of SHWeddings, based in Chicago (woot!) and a recent bride – check out this absolutely adorable picture on her inaugural post. The Elegant Owl features work that is imaginative, colorful, and classic / vintage, so expect to see lots of beautiful, quirky weddings that truly reflect the couples’ personalities!

Thank you ladies again for featuring me, it was a wish of mine in 2010 to begin getting published / featured on other blogs, and it was really cool seeing it happen earlier than expected! It is truly an honor to have other people like my work.
