Jen and Joel had one of the smoothest weddings I’ve ever attended, and they pulled this off all while planning all the way over in San Francisco. The very lovely Emilie of Pink Orchid Weddings appeared to be everywhere at once on their wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly, she sent me a very detailed Excel schedule beforehand… overall, she made the day just THAT much better! I was so excited to finally collaborate with Pink Orchid Weddings on a wedding. Make sure you’ve already checked out part one of this modern eco-chic wedding
It was only fitting that Jen and Joel’s wedding save the date and invitation featured a theme of travel and their love for their home city, San Francisco. Designed by Beyond Design on Etsy

After the ceremony, Jen and Joel had some time to themselves, and after the large group photo I took them back to the grounds for tons of relaxed portraits with the two of them

How can you not admire the rolling grassy fields of Gibbet Hill?

Happily married

I LOVE the colors in this one. So perfect

One of the first things I noticed about Joel’s band was how its color reminded me of all the pictures of guns he admires and puts online. It’s a titanium ring

Jen is so so cute. I loved the personal touches she placed into her attire, including a purple crinoline that peeked out from under her dress

Meanwhile, the interior of the barn was set up for the reception. Get ready for tons of amazing details!

Meticulous details included DIY decor around the mason jars that held the fresh flowers, embossed detail on the menu cards

The favors were little jars filled with homemade Boston cream pie that Jen and a couple others baked right before the wedding. I had one the next morning – delicious! Dessert included a cupcake display. Other details shown here include the bouquets, the mothers’ corsages, and the exit ribbon wands

The escort card table was set up on an overlay of postcards. Each table was named after a destination that Jen and Joel had traveled to. The guestbook was also made up of postcards that guests could sign. (top photo of postcards taken by Suzanna March Photography). Jen made a modern sign that was draped over the wheel to reflect her modern aesthetic

The food at Gibbet Hill is super delicious – because it is sourced right from the farm!

Jen and Joel had a super fun first dance that showed off Jen’s dress whenever they twirled

Half the room must have been in tears during the parent dances. I definitely choked up during the father-daughter dance

On to the reception – fun fun! The ever-wonderful Beat Train Productions provided the music for the day

This flower girl was definitely having the time of her life

With Jen and Joel yay!

Fun instagr.am photo that Suzanna took on her iPhone during photos

Let me know what you all think! What were your favorite parts of this wedding?
Thank you Jen and Joel for choosing me and trusting me with your special day especially with all the distance you’ve had to travel to make this happen. Blessings and good wishes!
