“Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!”
Lisa and Dan used an adapted version of Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” in their wedding ceremony, and it could not be more appropriate. I’m so excited to present this wedding of a dynamic couple and people I am also happy to call as my friends.
When I arrived, I found Dan contemplating his vows at the piano. For those who knew Dan since his Lexington High School days (we share the same high school and college), you’d know he was a serious piano man
The weather was gloomy that day. However, I do love the light in this portrait
Lisa and Dan incorporated elements of their Chinese heritage into this modern Bradley Estate wedding planned by Gracie Lou Events
Lisa wore a gorgeous Oleg Cassini wedding gown that had layers and layers of tulle. It sat light and fluffy on her and she carried herself with so much elegance
A veil and a hair flower: a DO!
Stunning! I took a lot of time photographing her =)
Lisa and Dan originally planned on taking advantage of the gorgeous grounds at Bradley Estate for an outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately, the skies would not have it and began drizzling at the first look
We moved indoors for some portraits while the amazing Gourmet Caterers hustled to move all 130 chairs inside. Guys, this caterer is one of the BEST I’ve worked with. They’re awesome
Tangerine Creations made these beautiful, eye-popping bouquets and boutonnieres. Lisa told me she just wanted as much as color possible (my kind of bride!)
Even indoors, Lisa and Dan did not miss a beat
At first the flower girl and ringbearer were too shy to be photographed. I eventually got them to like me =)
One of my favorite things about this ceremony is how Lisa and Dan could not stop smiling at each other the entire time
Emotional hugs right afterwards
The skies cleared after the ceremony! We ran out to grab portraits
This one is actually from earlier in the day, but wow, mega-wattage smiles right here!
Sassy
Usually I’m all like, “walk like you’re all GQ” until Dan noted that one of the groomsmen actually WORKS for GQ. Can you guess which one?
I think my joke got lost on the left side here…
Siblings!
Showing off Lisa’s dress one more time =)
Vibrant aquamarine tablecloths and red and aquamarine lanterns punctuated the festive tent
A happy first dance
Breaking it down..
This is Dan’s Dad…
Oh yes… Dan’s brother, Dad, and one other guest all DID THE WORM. Like a worm-off… if that’s a word??? Amazing.
The sun peeked through for a fabulous sunset

That groomsman on the right is working it
Me charming the ringbearer into taking a photo =)
My photo with Lisa and Dan got photo-bombed by Lisa’ brother. So awesome, I love this version :D
Thank you Lisa and Dan for warmly having me and for making me such an integral part of your wedding, and much congratulations! Lisa and Dan had a laid-back wedding planning process because they trusted their vendors, and I think it really shows. So, I’m signing off with this fun photo
