Ever get one of those couples who, when you see them interact with each other, you just know, they truly know what it means to live with joy? Dan is a faithful, thoughtful man who really likes finishing other people’s brownies and will be a great psychiatrist. Pantila never stops smiling. She is so optimistic, full of life, silly, gives people silly nicknames, and loves jasmine rice. Thank you to Rebecca for referring these two amazing people to me. I could not ask for a better way to start off my 2011 season and my first Chicago wedding! (although, technically, I consider them both more Boston since Pantila shared my alma mater ;)
First off, I do ring shots on top of items that are personal to the wedding. These are bags that Pantila brought back from Thailand as a gift to all her bridesmaids. Love that color!

Dan’s mom and Pantila both cried as they realized it was the big day

The light in this bridal suite was gorgeous! Brides – always try to get ready in rooms with LOTS of light. Made a huge difference here especially since we were a winter wedding

Did you know that hair spray can get rid of dress static? I had no idea!

I heart the wedding party!

Meanwhile, my second shooter Kyle was getting these handsome men

Their Catholic ceremony was at the Ascension Church in Oak Park, Illinois

An emotional walk down the aisle

Pantila chose gorgeous white roses and green orchids for her bouquest that day. They were so fresh and romantic

This is Kari, Pantila’s MOH. I have extra love for her since she has cute short hair like me ;)

I can’t get enough of Pantila’s relationship with her father. He was able to make it out to this wedding from Thailand and is just quite the gentleman

Look at these two stealing glances at each other during the ceremony =)

I posted these frames a little earlier. I typically try to stick with the bride and groom as much as possible even in the crazy commotion post-ceremony because you never know when you’d get moments like these

They invited me to ride with them on the party bus back to the reception. It was tons of fun!
