Some people might be turned off by the word “investment”, doesn’t it sound pretentious? However, what I’m really trying to get at is that I’m not a commodity, I can’t clone myself, I can only shoot a very limited number of weddings a year. I know I’m not the most affordable, but I know I’ve priced myself at where I believe my talent and offerings are appropriate and that I am paid enough to keep my business running smoothly, where I can be happy and proud of what I do, and provide you with an amazing, amazing experience. One does not get to the kind of online reviews like the ones you see on my Yelp or WeddingWire pages without me REALLY caring about you, your fiance, your family, and your wedding, and who you are as a person.
I could shoot 2 weddings a weekend from April to October at a cut-throat prices but I would be exhausted, have no personal life, AND I probably wouldn’t be able to provide you with stellar customer service. My clients know that they can email me and get a response within 24 hours. My clients know that they get sneak peeks and that they don’t have to nag me for the proof gallery to show online. My clients know that I am responsible and travel with backups and that I almost never, ever run a wedding late – which sometimes can happen with photography at weddings. My clients know that I take a lot of notes, that I keep things running efficiently using Google Docs, and that I won’t forget a detail if you make it known that it’s important to you. My clients know that even with weekly shooting commitments, I still find time to meet or talk to them before the wedding and design custom-designed guestbooks or fulfill urgent print orders.
Weddings are stressful enough. I am not ‘just’ a photographer. I help you through the wedding planning experience. I provide you peace of mind. I am able to translate what you may not be able to verbalize about what you like in photography, into a visual interpretation that will hopefully meet or exceed your expectations. On your wedding day, you should not have to have a single worry about whether your photographer will get all the moments – you can trust me to be there and take care of it, that I’m going to capture most of your day in a photojournalistic manner but also get beautiful, wall-enlargement-worthy portraits and detail shots that will make wedding blogs gasp. If you want that kind of wedding photography experience, then you might like me.

Every wedding inquiry comes with a risk-free consultation where you meet me either at my home or via video chat where you can get to see who I am as a person, how I talk, look at more of my work, my sample albums. During these meetings, many times, I also help you get a better idea of how much wedding photography you need in a day and whether your preliminary wedding schedule is realistic or not. Not every couple is the right fit for me nor am I the right photographer for every couple, and this consultation is a great chance for you to see how you like me as a person. After all, your wedding photographer spends most of your wedding day with you, more than any other vendor, they’re even going to be there when you put on your dress… you wouldn’t want to undress in front of someone you don’t feel comfortable with!
