I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting with the most wonderful photographer friend and mentor, Agnieszka Wormus of A Brilliant Photo. I really admire her talent, her easily recognizable style, and on top of that, she is sooo friendly and supportive to be around. She’s enjoying a beautiful vacation right now and I hear she’s booked solid for next year, so I’m really honored to have been given this opportunity. Second shooting is always fun, and it was actually pretty fortuitous how this opportunity came about… I didn’t have the whole day booked, and Agnieszka needed someone. Ivelisse and Greg are great to work with. Ivelisse is hilarious, laid-back, and also has many creative and fun ideas of her own – some of the photos were her idea! We got ready at the Colonnade Hotel, made our way to the Reflecting Pool at the Christian Science Center across from the Prudential Center to take photos. The reception was held at Sasso – which Agnieszka found out had hence become Lucca. The wedding coordinator there was great, he took care of everyone and even had his own wedding there, so truly he was very much enjoying this one =)
This is Ive’s beautiful dress… it sits right above her ankles and is as unique as her personality

Yummy shoes + rings shot! I borrowed Agnieszka’s macro lens for this one =)

I literally gasped when I saw these flowers! They are so warm and yet hint of fall
The flowergirls’ baskets came with little boxes to hold the rings

I’m really liking these story-telling shots of just the entire bridal suite and what is going on
Ivelisse requested this photo… the flower girls are her nieces. As you’ll see – they are a hoot!
Ive’s Mom looking proudly on
The flower girls played with the rings and jewelry… I adore them so!

So beautiful!
Their wedding happened during one of the coldest weekends.. it’s funny because right now it’s unusually warm for fall, but that weekend was COLD! I’m amazed everyone braved through the cold – especially Ive and Greg
Another hilarious photo! Ive requested a “foot pop” photo with the girls while Agnieszka was taking some group photos
Working it!

We love this colonnade

My view =)

I got on the ground for this angle.. the leaves had been turning the colors and I wanted to capture this canopy
The escort “cards” were electric flickering candles on which the design matched signs on the tables (which were lit on the inside by tiny lights). Really cool!

A bit of a struggle getting the ring on haha!
The wedding happened on the stairs inside the venue. I actually got this angle because the wedding coordinator at Sasso showed me a back way so I could get there without disturbing the ceremony. Thanks guys!

And once again, a big big thank you to Agnieszka for this wonderful experience. It’s too fun being able to work with someone whose work I admire and respect every day. And thank you for your friendship and encouragement on days when I doubt my own work. Check out her amazing documentation of this wedding here! And a photo of her hard at work capturing details
