High school sweethearts Lynn and Chris tied the knot this past weekend under golden sun rays on the gorgeous grounds of the Lyman Estate. Their wedding could not be more perfect, filled to the brim with amazing DIY yellow and gray details by Lynn and her sister Caroll. I loved working with Lynn because of how much trust and faith she placed in her amazing wedding vendors, this is truly one of those weddings where you can see the fruit and hard work of everything come together. Most importantly, the beauty of this wedding is in the love and warmth of the two families, who have known each other for over ten years and are so joyous at this occasion.
When I arrived, I found this beautiful wreath hung on the grounds. This is just a glimpse of all the goodness to come!
I began with portraits of the groom. And what a dashing groom he was! No nerves, this Chris, just pure handsomeness
Also, a big thank you to Ashley Stelzer whose work complements many of the detail shots you see here today, including the photo on the left. Her fine arts eye really helped bring this estate wedding to life
I couldn’t WAIT to photograph what the talented Bumble Bee Landing had in store for the personal flowers. Dana did not disappoint, I literally gasped at the bouts and bouquets!

Lynn and Chris are self-declared nerds. (They are pretty smart) So we did the First Look in the library. If you’re on the fence for a First Look, seriously, look at the range of emotions in these four shots. Chris couldn’t stop telling Lynn how beautiful she was (the last image is of him circling around her to check out), and Lynn tried her best not to cry
Okay, first off, I love this wedding party! They were so fun to work with and so relaxed
And…. BAM!!!
Lynn and Chris gave me plenty, plenty of time for more relaxed and colorful portraits on the grounds of Lyman Estate

The ceremony was outdoors on the grounds. Lynn and her sister had created the wedding arch themselves

Lynn and Caroll also created a complete DIY photobooth with pinwheels!
