There is nothing quite like love, as I showed you in my sneak peek of Monica and Andrey’s wedding in Boston this April. Here is their story!
Monica got ready at the beautiful Langham Hotel in Boston’s downtown financial district. Her older sister is putting in her veil while her niece looks on
Do you see the little angel charm in her bouquet? It’s to remember Monica’s mother, who passed away
Monica, you are so, so gorgeous!

One great moment I like is when the bride meets her father. It’s obviously a very different emotion than a First Look, but incredibly precious, and also quite an emotional moment
Monica’s playful sneaking up to Andrey during the First Look

Having all her family members present in addition to the wedding party was very important for Monica, so we took some time getting many family portraits in the beautiful Postal Square Park
A Boston Duck Tour bus passed by and wished them well!
One of the honored guests was Monica’s grandmother. I think this portrait is simply gorgeous
We were so lucky to have beautiful weather in April where showers are frequent. If you remember their engagement shoot, it had to be done completely indoors because there was a huge storm that weekend!

I hope you can see how caring Andrey is throughout the photos. He is protective of Monica and was able to meet Monica’s mother prior to her passing away and have her blessing.
I think what I really appreciate about this couple is how they’re very honest with each other and how much they respected each other’s opinions

The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the UMass Club of Boston. Before we headed up, I grabbed a modern portrait of Monica in the lobby

Around 150 guests fit perfectly into the ceremony room

This was when the minister spoke of Monica’s mother and everyone teared up a little bit

In your first dance, remember to look at the camera once if you can =)

Monica’s sister, Keira, recalled the day that Monica was born

Many of Andrey’s family members are in Brazil and could not make it up to Boston for their wedding so they will be having another wedding there. However, it was absolutely wonderful seeing his parents present. Andrey’s mother gave a touching toast as well, welcoming Monica into their family and offering herself as another mother figure

This wedding could dance! The floor was lively all night long

A ring shot to round out the night!
Monica had some very personal details incorporated in the wedding that I thought I’d share
Row 1: Gorgeous ceremony flowers, petals on the floor, and personalized tissue packets
Row 2: Bread basket, menu, cake
Row 3: Hand lettered escort cards, a guestbook table that included wedding photos of both Monica and Andrey’s parents, and passed hors d’oeuvres
Congratulations to you both! Thank you so much for being so inspiring with your love, and I wish you nothing but the best!
